2017 World Record Faster Row Across the Atlantic Ocean
Latitude 35 teammates Jason Caldwell and Mathew Brow (USA), and Angus Collins and Alex Simpson (UK) rowed from La Gomera in the Canary Islands on December 14th, 2016 and finished in Antigua on January 19th, 2017. This was a total time of 35 days, 14 hours, and 3 minutes, achieving an average speed of 2.986 knots over 3,000 miles and breaking the world record as the fastest row boat to cross the Atlantic Ocean from East to West.

Latitude 35 teammates Jason Caldwell and Thomas Magarov rowed from La Gomera in the Canary Islands on December 20th 2015, and finished in Antigua on February 9th, 2016. This was a total time of 51 days, 8 hours, and 42 minutes, achieving the fastest American four to ever row across the Atlantic East to West despite having two of their teammates evacuated 600 miles into the race.
